Vogue 8379 dress, silk jersey. This dress is a favourite that I have worn frequently. I made it at the beginning of winter, 2008, but failed to blog about it. I don't think I wrote a review for pattern review but about 100 other people have.
I should retire this dress soon, as the fabric is losing recovery after its 3rd year of wear- I have too much cleavage display by the end of the day - hence the scarf.
Hand knitted scarf, my own(very simple) pattern, viscose/cotton yarn. I lov Joy's comment that knitting is her emergency hobby. Everyone needs one!

You look absolutely fabulous in that dress. The colour and style are perfect. I love this pattern too. Just wondering if you've ever felted crochet??? I saw a felted crochet rose that a friend would love to have and I've been tracking down patterns. I did find one so I think I'll give it a go. I'm a much better crocheter(?) than knitter.
Love the dress, purple is a stunning colour on you. You could always run some fine elastic through the dress neckline to full it up a little bit.
