Emergency hobby progress report

Sometimes getting sewing time is not very easy.
In these circumstances other hobbies come to the fore. Particularly portable hobbies that will  fit in the handbag whilst a work in progress.

Wow! You have been busy. You've really got such an interesting and varied range of knitted items there. Those socks are gorgeous. Perfect timing for the start of winter.

So many beautiful woolly things - there are about 5 different pieces I want to come over and "borrow"!
Your kids are very lucky...

I seem to go from sewing to knitting seasonally. But when the urge to switch happens, it's strong. Fortunately, you've got tons of great things here to show for your sewing hiatus!

Gorgeous knitting and it is so varied. My knitting will start again with the long road trips we take in winter, however I know I will not produce as many beautiful garments as you have.

Holy cow! You definitely haven't had a dull moment with all those beautiful knitted projects. I'll bet the recipients were all very grateful with winter coming on. :-)

Now I am feeling guilty...I have grown a little bored with my own daughters scarf and it is taking twice as long as it should!
