Self Stitched September 12 Stay at home Sunday

It was nearly a Stay at Home Sunday today (bliss), except that the first part was at my mother's home, with my siblings (and son) where my sister almost stole yesterday's dress. She tried it on, then complained that it did not fit and was the wrong colour, so I am not entirely sure why she wanted to steal it, but took the intention as a compliment anyway. She has commissioned one with fitting changes and in some pastel colour for her Christmas present. I will think about it.
IMAG0011
Repeat Jalie sweetheart top, worn with old and scruffy denim Vogue 8426 skirt.

Perfect for stay at home clothes. The photo is pure justice. After I whined about my photograph dis-enthusiasm yesterday, my camera died in response. This charming photograph, sans makeup or hair attention, was taken with my husband's camera phone, by someone who was dragged away from her homework, due tomorrow. I think there may have been a lack of enthusiasm for the task.
The activites carried out in this effortless outfit include schlepping around with my mum and sister eating strawberries and lemon cake, a marathon session at up-words with my son, and a 2 and a half hour drive.
I may cut out some trousers this evening as my sole sewing this weekend. Wish me luck.

Looks nice and yet also comfortable. Impressed you have managed a photo everyday, I wouldn't be able to I don't think.

This may be a hanging-around-the-house outfit but you look awesome. The skirt and top compliment you. You should wear green more often!

This is a hanging around outfit!? sheesh girl, that is nowhere near hanging around. I have 2 different socks on, a pair of holey yoga pants and a giant sweatshirt. You look great-pretty color on the sweetheart top.

I love this skirt on you. I'm also thinking I really need to buy that Jalie pattern. I think I'm the only person in the world who has not made it. It's such a flattering style.

I think it's a very pretty photo - denim skirts are just too good!
