A no sewing week

Fraser Island, beach camping, so no sewing.

Instead I walked on the beach, waded up freshwater creeks,

made sandcastles with the children,

and looked at dingoes from a nice, safe distance.

I did get some knitting done. I hope my sister doesn't mind sand in her cardigan :).

And I'll bet you'll be all refreshed and ready and rearing to go when you back to a sewing machine.. it's always great to have a break.

BTW - I really like that Burda top you just finished - it looks great and it breaks the rules too! Even better.

I read a book which had a sentence that went something like this, "she walked into the room, looking like she'd been dressed by Trinny and Susannah."

Now I can just imagine exactly what she looked like - what a shame to be head to toe in someone else's taste.

i really need to learn to knit or do embroidery- you can relax on the beach & be creating something! ;-)
