Self Stitched September 24, Burda Style 8-2010-112 two layer top

Today's outfit was supposed to have 2 new items, but the weather is warming up, so there is only one official new item, Burda Style 8-2010- two layer top - without the twist.
You can see here that I have reversed the tops - the under layer is lower (thin bamboo knit from Gorgeous Fabrics), and the top layer higher at the neck to showcase my stretch lace fabric from Paris. I was very pleased that these fabrics seem exactly the same colour. It is also not a neutral earth colour. I am branching out!

I have made some more versions of this pattern this week, which I plan to review later as I wear them.
The skirt is BWOF 4-2009-something or other again, cotton gabardine. I have a feeling I should make a few more skirts, as this one is becoming rather dull and repetitive.

Here is the item I was really excited about. I finished this hand knit wrap - my own pattern, last night. I love the texture and subtle colours. (Jo Sharp Kid Mohair and Jo Sharp Silkroad Aran Tweed)

I am sure I will wear it a lot next winter.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone look so pretty in navy! You look so pleased with your new wrap, too, and I think I would also make thousands of those skirts if I ever got round to it.

How many hours, on average, would you say you spend sewing per day?

I really like that lace top on you. It is a good color for you. I just bought some pink see through fabric and now I know what to do with it. I will make a long sleeved shirt and wear a short sleeved under it. Thanks for the idea.
