Thanks for the comments re improving yesterday's outfit. I need all the help I can get!
Although I agree with yesterday's advice concerning the lack of colour in my clothes, today, I am no more colourful. Despite this, I like today's outfit, and have worn this dress frequently over the past 3 winters.

This is the dress from wardrobe pattern Vogue 8305, made in 2008. The fabric is a very fine and thin wool jersey. I have reviewed the pattern here, and have also made the top from the same pattern, which I like just as much as this dress.

I was cold this morning, and thought I could get one more wear of the dress this season, but at 3 in the afternoon, I am wishing I had worn something a little less warm, so it is time to pack this away until next winter. What a pity. Dresses are so easy to wear.
