This pattern is so versatile and easy to sew and wear, that I traced it out in 3 sizes, and in 3 variations, short sleeved, long sleeved and dress version, and made it up twice in one day (only one variation though) for 2 different people.
I used the same fabric ;).
Can you tell I did not have a lot of sewing time this week?
My younger daughter is modelling this with a skirt she made herself. Yipee, yahoo!
Her fabric is a cotton canvas from Ikea, no pattern used, just pleating and draping. She even bought the fabric herself !!!! I did help her just a tad with the zip.........
Stashbusting statistics 1.7 m of cotton lycra knit, 2010, from which I also squeezed a pair of unmentionables, Ottobre 02-2010-20

I think you have made the best one of these I have seen. I love it in the white as you can really see the detail in the rushing of the sleeves. Your daughter's skirt is also striking... what a perfect match up.
I must have another look at this pattern those are lovely t-shirts. I like the skirt too, I've just made us some curtains out of the same fabric!
Wow, it looks even better made up and I already liked the line drawings!
Your daughters skirt looks fantastic too.
The tee shirts look great. Your daughter's skirt is lovely. She should be very proud!
That is a great pattern and her skirt is awesome. Love the color.
Sorry Kbenco, the t-shirts are cute, but your daughter's gorgeous skirt is what's really stolen the show here. She looks fabulous! :-)
I agree with Summer Flies, this IS the best version I've seen around. And I just made one for myself too! (not blogged yet) I had a devil of a time getting it to fit right. Yours look absolutely fantastic!
Your daughter's skirt is also gorgeous! I love the fabric.
Your daughter's fabric selection is AWESOME for her skirt...FIESTA! :)
Awesome t-shirts! Your daughters are too cute too.

These are lovely tee shirts. I like the ruching and it certainly jazzes up a white tee.
Your daughter has done a fantastic job of that lovely skirt.
I have to try that pattern. Looks like a keeper. I love your daughter's skirt.
That is a lovely pattern, and so clever to have designed and made her own skirt. She takes after her Mum :)
love your versions of this top - I made the dress version, however felt too fat for it.
You make t-shirts! Good work! But seriously, the t-shirts are unique and very cute.
And the skirt is fabulous! It goes perfectly with the white shirt.
You've reminded me that I will use that pattern the next time I'm needing a knit top. It is so cute! Your daughter is such a lovely girl - and that is exactly the same skirt I sewed at a young age, in order to earn a GirlScout badge. Her version is just gorgeous.
Oohh I really like that pattern. Is the only way to get it to buy the magazine or is it on the Burda website? I haven't used their patterns before so I'm not sure how it all works.
Everyone is right though, your daughter's skirt is AMAZING. The shirt is a perfect counterpoint to it.
Great looking outfit. Your daughter's skirt is super cute. Congratulations to her.
Your daughter has grown into a beautiful young woman. Her skirt is fantastic. Love the fabric choice.
Very cute t-shirt, and so glad you had great success with it, it is on my cool weather sewing list.
